Disruption on Great Northen line following fatal incident in Potters Bar


One line remains closed on the Great Northern route after someone was hit and killed by a train in Potters Bar.

Great Northern has tweeted that one line is blocked, but all other lines have now re-opened.

Earlier on all lines between New Barnet and Brookmans Park had been blocked as emergency services dealt with the incident at Potters Bar.

National Rail Enquiries states online: “A person has been hit by a train between New Barnet and Brookmans Park and this is causing delays of up to 60 minutes to trains between London Kings Cross/Moorgate and Stevenage. Disruption is expected to continue until approximately 4.30pm.”
