Cyclist taken to hospital following crash in Hatfield

A cyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash with an Audi in Hatfield.

Police were called at 8.07am today (Monday, July 16) to reports of a collision in Wellfield Road.

A police spokeswoman said: “The incident, which occurred near the Queensway Health Centre, involved an Audi A2 and a cyclist.

“Recovery has been arranged for the Audi.”

At 8.13am an ambulance attended and took a 38-year-old man to Lister Hospital.

An ambulance spokesman said: “We do not have any further information on the man’s injuries.”
