Crash near Potters Bar causes serious delays


A crash near Potters Bar this morning left a car on its roof and caused severe delays.

The anticlockwise collision near Junction 24 for Potters Bar involved a Vauxhall Corsa and a Peugeot, at about 8.36am.

Traffic tailed back to Junction 26 near Waltham Abbey, as the carriageway was closed to allow emergency services to recover the vehicles.

A police spokeswoman said no one is thought to have been seriously injured.

The stretch was reopened at 10.05am.
