Clinton Cards in Hatfield to close next week

A HATFIELD card shop will close down next week, it has been announced.
The Galleria branch of Clinton Cards, which went into administration last month, will close by next Thursday, June 21.
It is one of 122 stores being closed by administrators Zolfo Cooper, and follows the closure of 43 branches last week.
Clinton Cards was bought by US retailer American Greetings earlier this month, a sale which included 397 UK stores, including one in WGC.
But two branches based in Hatfield – the Galleria and another in Town Centre – were not included in the deal.
Staff at both stores have already been told their shops will be closing, but no date has yet been set for Town Centre branch.
