A children’s play area in the Galleria is opening for free today in a bid to keep pupils entertained whose schools are closed.

The Galleria’s Get Wild play area has free entry for any child whose school is closed today.

Simply say the word ‘snowman’ to Get Wild staff on arrival and receive a free one-hour session.

A spokeswoman for Get Wild said: “Get down there quick, as if it fills up, you might have to wait for your turn.”

Get Wild is a jungle-themed indoor play area for children aged one to 12 with slides, tunnels, rope walks, climbing frames and more.

There is also a space for parents to relax with a coffee while the kids are having fun.
