Meet Charlie, the Savannah cat who lives with his owner Debbie Martin, and whose great-great-great-grandparents would have been related to a serval cat.

To be able to own Charlie, Debbie had to get a Dangerous Wild Animal Licence for the feline who likes to eat raw meat and baby chickens.

The one-year-old will grow to the size of a small dog and can jump eight foot in the air from a sitting position.

Debbie said: “He likes to walk on his lead, play fetch with his ball and he follows me around the house constantly.

“He is the love of our lives.”

To own an F1 Savannah Kitten in the UK a Dangerous Wild Animal Licence is required.

If you have an adorable furry friend or a hilarious picture of your pet, send photos and a description to petoftheweek@ Please include where you live in Welwyn Hatfield or Potters Bar.
