Alex Graves with dad Andy

Grandad Andy Graves died in February, aged 51, at Isabel Hospice in WGC.

Now his relatives are planning a charity skydive to pay tribute.

The group of seven includes Andy’s step-daughter Laura Dring, her brother Alex Graves and his wife Laura, and their cousin Ruari Winning.

The jump, in aid of the hospice where Andy spent his final days, will take place on Saturday in Cornwall.

By doing the skydive they hope to raise around £2,000 for the hospice.

Mum-of-two Laura, of Ingles, said they were all frightened at the prospect of jumping out of a plane at 12,000ft.

The 32-year-old said: “We will all be terrified!

“But we have decided to put ourselves through this terrifying ordeal in order to raise money for the Isabel Hospice, a cause very close to our hearts.

“Undoubtedly, this incredible charity did all they could to make his [Andy’s] last few weeks as comfortable as possible.”

Laura added: “Please give as much as you can in the memory of Andy and to help this worthy cause”.
