Police have released a CCTV image after two males stole bottles of Champagne from a Potters Bar supermarket.

On Saturday, February 11, at around 8pm the pair entered Sainsbury’s and took three bottles of Champagne, placing them in a holdall before leaving without paying.

They were challenged by security guards and the goods were recovered.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured as they believe he may have information that could prove useful to the investigation.

Anyone who recognises him or has any other information about the theft can contact police via 101, quoting crime reference J3/17/193.
