Police would like to speak to this woman

CCTV images of a woman police would like to speak to in connection with a theft from a cashpoint in Welwyn Garden City have been released by police.

On Friday, January 20 a woman was at Santander bank in Howardsgate between 2pm and 2.30pm.

While attempting to pay in some money, the victim became distracted and left her card in the machine.

Subsequently money was taken from her account and the card was also taken from the machine.

Pc Joe Clapham is investigating and said: “I would like to speak to the woman pictured as I believe she may be able to assist with my inquiries.

“If this is you or you believe you know the lady pictured, please contact police.”
