Car hits tree in Hatfield

PART of the road running from Welwyn Garden City to St Albans is to be closed this evening (Wednesday) after a car hit a tree.

A silver Vauxhall Corsa left the road at 5pm in between a roundabout that leads to Hatfield, and the Smallford industrial site, on Coopers Green Lane.

Police are currently diverting traffic and ambulance crews are on their way to treat the male driver.
