Police have seized an uninsured vehicle in Welwyn Garden City.

In the last six months, Herts Police has crushed 586 vehicles in the county after they were being driven without insurance.

A spokesman said: “Driving without insurance can cost you more than you think.

“If you are found to be driving without insurance officers can seize your vehicle.

“You can either pay fees to get it back or it may be crushed.”

Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit seized a vehicle in Welwyn Garden City this morning.
