A large amount of hay is on fire along Baker Street in Potters Bar


Buses are being diverted due to a fire in Potters Bar this morning (Friday)

A large amount of hay is on fire in a field along Bakers Street.

Some public transport services have been affected and bus routes are being diverted.

The number 84 and 242 are affected.

The road is currently closed both ways between the Dancers Hill Road junction and Sawyers Lane junction.

Police were called at 2.30am and four fire crews are currently on the scene.

A police spokesman said it is not clear at the moment what caused the fire.
