AN 11-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital after a road collision in Potters Bar yesterday (Wednesday).
The accident happened just after 5.30pm in Barnet Road.
The youngster collided with a car, breaking his femur.
Paramedics from WGC, Borehamwood, Hertford and the Essex Air Ambulance attended the scene.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The young boy received a significant injury to his leg and following treatment and stabilisation by land and air ambulance crews, he was flown direct to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel.”
