Police officers are still at an address in Welwyn Garden City following what has been described as a “domestic incident”, which happened last night.

A police spokeswoman said: “Police were called at 10.54pm yesterday (Tuesday, August 15) to reports of a domestic incident at an address in Blythway, Welwyn Garden City.

“A scene guard is in place at the location this morning and officers remain at the scene.”

Members of the public reported seeing about five police cars, a police van and an ambulance at the property late last night.

Police tape and a white police tent were also in place, according to eyewitnesses.
