A new barbers is offering free haircuts for charity donations at its opening in Hatfield today.

Gould Barbers is opening in Tesco Extra today (Friday, October 26), and will raise funds for the men’s health charity Movember between 7am and 6pm.

Leigh Gould, who owns the growing chain with his brother Darran, said: “Movember is a very worthwhile cause and works hard to raise awareness about men’s health issues.

“In 2014, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. I’m completely fine now. I was one of the lucky ones, so we all felt Movember was an important charity.

“Visitors are welcome to pop into our Hatfield branch for a free haircut, we just ask if you could make a donation towards our fundraising efforts.”

The shop will be open seven days a week, 10am to 3.30pm on Sundays, and caters for all ages, from little ones right through to older generations.
