The free exhibition will open on Saturday, September 15 at 12 noon until 8pm.

The Horse and Groom in Old Hatfield, who host their meetings, have generously offered their function room for the exhibition.

The group was founded almost in the blink an eye when, in August 2017, Katie Spencer asked on the Facebook group ‘We Are Hatfield’ if there were any art groups in the area.

By the afternoon, there was indeed - founded after the conversation Katie started.

The group has now been meeting on Saturdays for over a year and welcomes people of all abilities, with their youngest member being 10 years old.

Their ethos states: “Whether you are a Royal Academician, doodle on the back of an envelope or just want to enjoy the creations of our talented town - this is the club for you.”
