The Welwyn Hatfield North Neighbourhood Policing Team have held a successful community event at Stanborough Park.

The entire team was present at the crime prevention stall on April 14, providing valuable advice.

People took the chance to learn about Herts Connected, the county's new messaging platform.

The day also marked the opportunity for attendees to voice opinions regarding future policing priorities, due for announcement in May.

The team had the bike-marking equipment on offer, and it was freely used, while the police vehicle also proved to be popular.

PC Anne Lopez said: "It was a great day and there was lots on offer for residents - from bike marking to finding out about HertsConnected.

"As we’re in the process of deciding the new local police priorities, it was useful to get feedback on what residents think we should be focusing on.

"We’re taking submissions online until the end of the month so there’s still time to have your say at bit.ly/hertspolice-psf.

“We would like to thank everybody who came along.

"We had a great time meeting you.”
