A heart-broken Hatfield mum is demanding answers from a hospital following the death of her baby boy within just two hours of his birth.

A woman was found dead at a house in Welwyn Garden City last night – and detectives are now investigating, with a man in custody.

Police have been searching through the night for a 20-year-old man who has gone missing from Potters Bar – and have issued an urgent appeal for the public to help trace him.

A child was rescued from a climbing frame by firefighters in Welwyn Garden City yesterday (August 17).

Over 80 pupils received their A-level results today at Mount Grace School, with 73 per cent achieving grades A*-C at level 3 in what headmaster Peter Baker has described as “a great result.”

Welwyn Hatfield’s MP has published a letter to Govia today, outlining his objections to the rail operator’s planned service changes.

A brave second-half fightback was not enough as Welwyn Garden City crashed out of the FA Cup to North Greenford United with a 4-2 defeat.

Welwyn Garden City set up a home tie with last season’s Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division champions London Colney as they got this year’s campaign off to a winning start with a 3-1 victory over Baldock Town in the Herts Charity Shield.
