Crash and oil spill near Potters Bar causes M25 delays

There is congestion on the M25 near Potters Bar after a crash and oil spill caused one lane to close this afternoon.

The collision happened at around 4.45pm on the clockwise carriageway between Junction 24 for Potters Bar and Junction 25 for Enfield.

Highways England tweeted that the vehicles involved are being cleared from the stretch and officers are treating an oil spill that has caused tailbacks.

One lane is currently closed and Metropolitan Police officers are at the scene. It is unclear if anyone was injured.
