Police and paramedics were called to the A1(M) motorway just outside Welwyn Garden City last night after a collision between two vans and a car.

At about 8.40pm, a Volkswagen Caravelle van, a Ford Connect van and a Saab convertible car were involved in a collision on the northbound carriageway near Stanborough Park.

Paramedics attended, but the vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder and recovered before 10pm.
