WELWYN Garden City stock car racer Drew Lammas chalked up his first major title last weekend.
Lammas, who is sponsored by several WGC-based firms, beat nearly 100 other drivers to win the UK Open at the Skegness Stadium,
The Hertfordshire driver’s opposition had travelled from as far afield as Cornwall, Scotland, Northern Ireland and mainland Europe to race in the event.
Lammas will hope to add the European title to his name this weekend at Northampton International raceway.
