A GROUP of pirates set sail for WGC seeking treasure – in the name of charity.

The Dream Pirates dropped anchor at the Howard Centre to raise money for Follow Your Dreams, a charity that helps young people with learning difficulties fulfil their potential in art, music, sport, drama and ICT.

The friendly sea-dogs posed for pictures with passers-by and managed to raise £700 for the charity.

Follow Your Dreams founder Martin Harris said: “The people of WGC were fantastic and extremely generous, as well as all the staff and management.

“This was very important for me as I am a Hertfordshire-born lad and as this will benefit youngsters from this area it brings it all home.”

n Follow Your Dreams is looking for people, groups and organisations to partner a new initiative to film and edit video CVs to help people with disabilities gain employment.
