HATFIELD swimmer Adam Brown is preparing to dive into the pool for his second Olympics.
The freestyle specialist from Hatfield Swimming Club is down to compete in the men’s 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle and the 4x100m freestyle relay at the London Aquatics Centre.
Adam, who trains at the Hertfordshire Sport Village and went to the Beijing Games four years ago, got his first taste of the London 2012 atmosphere yesterday (Saturday) when the watched the opening day of the swimming competition.
He tweeted: “was so exciting watching the swimming in the aquatic centre this morning! was so unbelievably loud every time a brit stood on the blocks!”
The heats of the 4x100m freestyle relay take place today (Sunday), with the final this evening.
