Interesting Fact: Adam has a similar career history in swimming as his Hatfield club buddy Richard Charlesworth.
Adam also spent two years training at the British Offshore Centre on the Australian Gold Coast.
At 19, Adam is the youngest member of the GB 4x100m freestyle relay quartet.
He has finished his time out in Oz and is now gearing up for the Olympic experience. After the Games Adam may well be leaving these shores once more as he bids to get a place at a USA University.
WHT Olympic analysis: Relay member Adam and his 4x100m freestyle team-mates will have an outside chance of making the final of their event.
It has been many years since GB had as strong a four as these lads in the event, so it will be interesting to see how they get on in Beijing.
