Will Hatfield Town get promotion?

We have not yet reached the Xmas period and Hatfield Town are high flying in the league.

They have only lost two of their 12 league games (as of 29/11/07) and are on a winning streak of four matches.

What do you think their chances of promotion are? Will they be able to catch leaders Met Police Bushey?

I might be sticking my neck out here, but I think Hatfield can win the league at long last.

They've closed to within three points of Met Police and have still to play them twice.

Trevor Lloyd seems to be doing a good job at Town and the likes of Lewis Field, Dave Hewing, Daniel Staples and Martin Standen will score plenty of goals. Add the talents of David Reade, Trevor Golder and Neil Doctor, plus a number of young reserve team players pressing for first team starts, and you've got the basis of a very strong squad.

the way we are playing at the moment and the size of the squad that Trevor and Brian have put together i would say we have a good chance of both Wink [;)]

Hatfield are still looking good for promotion. Can they catch Met Police?

Leaders Met Police are nine points ahead at the moment. But Town have two games in hand and still have to play the table toppers at Herns Lane.

The race for the title really is going to go down to the finishing line.

Yes ! I feel sure that promotion is there for the taking. Their own home in Hatfield is a priority, lets have lots of support to put the Town back where it belongs !

Well the odds on Town winning the title improved on Saturday. Hatfield banked another three points and Met Police dropped two. Just seven between them with two games in hand and still to play each other again...

And it could be a title double for Town this season.

Gary Doctor's Reserves are hot on the heels of Met Police in their division, being two points behind with a couple of games in hand.

Now wouldn't a league championship double and the Aubrey Cup be fitting reward come the end of the season?

it could be treble title season for the Town

Rob Crawford, "A" team which play in the Hertford League Div 2 are still in with a shout for there league Title, (not bad for there 1st season)

Yes!

Although they might have blown their chances of the title after yesterday's defeat at Bovingdon.

Good result against PSV yesterday makes it look pretty certain Town will finish at least runners-up this season, which would be good enough for promotion to the South Midlands League.

After yesterday's six-goal thrashing of Bushey Rangers the answer to "Will Hatfield Town get promotion?" is a most definite yes.

Now for the title and next week's crunch match against Met Police Bushey!
